Description
Edit: It ate my description O.o;; *retypes*----
IT IS DONE. Like.. 4 days after I started. Damn, real media takes a while.
Colored pencil on 9x12 vellum bristol.
This is for my newest set of stories -- Kingdoms Forged -- and this'd be Ha'zaan and Cera. Of course, as can be expected, it looks better in person. A lot of the detail in the reds (Cera) was lost. The sky also isn't so bright. Uh. The trees look better though. Some of the little details, like the shading on the claws was also lost.
The moral of this is scanners are evil. -- Anyone know how to get 'em to cooperate better?

The mount looks great!
Here are the crits: You need to train drawing hair more and anatomy, so that you can play with different poses. I think she looks a little too stiff.
The other thing is a minor crit: I would lower or raise the background to 1/3 and not 1/2 so that you can see more ground or more sky. You know, golden sections and all that.
Oh, and maybe you could make the hair wave with the wind. The grass already does that.
The saddle has a wonderful design btw.
Hope I could be of service.
Keep up the good work!
